Mt. Olive Pickle Co., Inc. is seeking an associate to assist the Packing Department Supervisor in overseeing staffing and the general operation of packing lines.

The role involves scheduling, data entry, and clerical support within the department. The position requires a high school diploma with additional training, PC competency, basic math, and a certified forklift operator. English reading/writing/speaking is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Competency with personal computer is required.

• Certified Forklift Operator required.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; conversational Spanish a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assist Packing Supervisor in overseeing packing lines and staffing.
• Assist Packing Supervisor in determining proper staffing of machine lines.
• Schedule department employees and adjust schedules as needed for proper staffing.
• Use computer systems and attendance reports to track and code data for the department.
• Prepare staffing worksheets based on scheduled employees.
• Relay instructions from Supervisor to department staff.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and other timekeepers.
• Assist other departments with timekeeping and staffing duties.
• Participate in training, meetings, committees and project teams as appropriate.
• Assist with clerical tasks and maintain a tidy work area.
