Norsk Hydro in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a Packing Manager to lead all packing operations and act as a key member of the Plant Management Team. You will drive safe, efficient, and high‑quality packing processes while guiding packing teams to meet production targets.

The role requires strong planning, scheduling, cost control, and health & safety discipline, with a track record of supervising teams and improving processes within manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/packing environment.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and production control skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives and maintain Health & Safety standards.
• Experience in process improvement and cost control within a plant setting.
• English fluency; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Directs planning and scheduling of packaging personnel.
• Plans and creates daily schedules to meet customer demand and line efficiency.
• Analyzes and evaluates production processes for optimal performance.
• Develops and implements work methods, authorizes overtime, and controls costs.
• Ensures Health and Safety objectives are met.
• Manages staffing, hiring, training, and development for the department.
