Autajon Packaging is seeking a meticulous Packing Inspector for the finishing department. You will be responsible for packing correct counts of acceptable quality product into cases, ensuring alignment with ISO 9000 standards.

This role operates on the 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 pm to 5:30 am, with shift differentials and planned meal periods. You will communicate clearly with customers and teammates and participate in continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality packing and adhering to ISO 9000 standards.
• Ability to sample according to AQL and inspect for defects.
• Strong communication with internal and external customers.

Your Role

If so, we have an opportunity for a Packing Inspector in our finishing department that would allow you to accurately pack the correct counts of acceptable quality product into cases in compliance with ISO 9000 standards.

Pay Range

$19-$20/hour. This is the expected starting pay range for this role. Actual placement within this range will be determined by the applicant's experience, relevant skills, education, and internal equity.

Shift Hours

3rd Shift Hours: Sunday-Thursday 9:30pm-5:30am

3rd Shift Differential Paid Meal Period

Your Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and precisely with internal and external customers.
• Review and follow documented procedures, work instructions, job jackets and specifications accurately.
• Inspect cartons and pack correct counts of acceptable quality into product cases notifying supervision of defect trends and nonconforming glue quality.
• Consistently perform in process inspection, pulling proper sampling according to AQL levels, to assure product meets customer specifications.
• Participate in the team process and consistently attentive to quality throughout manufacturing process
