Job summary

Flex Pack is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Green Bay facility. You will perform daily product inspections against internal specs and customer requirements to ensure quality. The role requires interpreting drawings, testing, and documenting non-conformities.

The position is full-time, on-site, with a 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am, offering shift premiums and the opportunity to advance within a growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of working experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements and drawings.
• Perform product inspections and testing including start-up approval checks, quality checks, and changes to ensure product meets specifications.
• Identify non-conforming product and document actions.
• Investigate and resolve internal non-conformities through spot-checking, backtracking or rework duties.
• Generate and verify labels and pallet tags for finished product identification.
• Take on special projects as instructed by Management.
• Comply with all company Quality Systems, policies, and safety procedures.

  • Starting pay: $21.65 per hour ($20.00 per hour + $1.65 per hour shift premium upon transfer)

Basic Job Duties:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing daily product inspections based upon the company’s internal specifications and customer requirements to ensure the product meets the customer’s expectations.

• Interpret customer requirements and drawings
• Perform product inspections and testing including, but not limited to, start-up approval checks, quality checks, and variety changes to ensure product meets company and customer specifications
• Perform special testing requirements for designated items/orders
• Identify non-conforming product and take necessary actions to document and segregate
• Investigate and resolve internal non-conformities in the form of spot-checking, backtracking, or rework duties
• Generate and/or verify labels and pallet tags for finished product identification
• Take on special projects, as instructed by Management
• Compliance with all company Quality Systems, Operational and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including safety and housekeeping procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• One (1) to three (3) years of working experience in Quality Control, within a manufacturing setting strongly preferred
