Autajon Packaging Thoro in Corona, CA is hiring a Packing Inspector for the 3rd shift to accurately pack acceptable quality product into cases in a clean, ISO 9000 compliant environment.

Pay range is $19–$20/hour with 3rd Shift hours Sunday-Thursday 9:30pm-5:30am, plus 3rd Shift Differential and meal period. Benefits include health insurance from day one, PTO, and 401(k) with company match.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish colors accurately and consistently.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Responsabilidades

• Communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
• Review procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
• Inspect cartons and pack correct counts into product cases per quality standards.
• Perform in-process inspections with proper sampling according to AQL levels.
• Contribute to a team environment with a focus on quality throughout manufacturing.

Your Role

Are you a detail-oriented packer who prefers working in a clean and safe manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy working collaboratively with a team to achieve goals? Have you consistently made decisions demonstrating regard for your customers? If so, we have an opportunity for a Packing Inspector in our finishing department that would allow you to accurately pack the correct counts of acceptable quality product into cases in compliance with ISO 9000 standards.

Pay Range: $19-$20/hour. This is the expected starting pay range for this role. Actual placement within this range will be determined by the applicant's experience, relevant skills, education, and internal equity.

3rd Shift Hours: Sunday-Thursday 9:30pm-5:30am

Your Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and precisely with internal and external customers.
• Review and follow documented procedures, work instructions, job jackets and specifications accurately.
• Inspect cartons and pack correct counts of acceptable quality into product cases notifying supervision of defect trends and nonconforming glue quality.
• Consistently perform in process inspection, pulling proper sampling according to AQL levels, to assure product meets customer specifications.
• Participate in the team process and consistently attentive to quality throughout manufacturing process

Qualifications Needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Minimum 6 months experience; industry experience preferred.
• Skills: Ability to frequently lift / move up to forty-five (45) pounds. Ability to distinguish colors accurately and consistently. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Characteristics: Strong attention to detail; Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs. Performs well in a team environment. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Able to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents
