Job summary

Gotham Greens is seeking a Packhouse Supervisor to lead daily operations in our Packhouse, oversee hourly teams, and ensure packing, labeling, and palletizing meet quality and safety standards.

You will translate the daily production plan into actionable tasks, supervise staffing, monitor shift performance, and coordinate with QA and sanitation to keep our produce safe and compliant. A background in packhouse or food manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least three years of progressively responsible Packhouse, production, food-processing, manufacturing, or related operations experience, including at least one year leading hourly employees.
• Experience planning labor, assigning work, managing schedules and attendance, controlling overtime, coaching employees, and holding a team accountable for daily results.
• Working knowledge of food-safety, GMP, sanitation, quality, traceability, labeling, temperature-control, and employee-safety requirements in a production environment.
• Experience with ERP, inventory, production-reporting, warehouse-management, or similar systems and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Packhouse operations, including packing, sorting, weighing, labeling, case packing, palletizing, and product staging.
• Translate the production plan into assignments and ensure safety requirements and pace are understood by staff.
• Monitor shift performance and adjust labor, line assignments, breaks, and materials to meet the plan and customer priorities.
• Supervise hourly staff, schedule and attendance, training, and performance management.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure food safety, quality, sanitation, inventory, and equipment readiness.
