Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY: The packer's role involves packing finished high-quality frozen egg products according to customer specifications. They fill and fold omelets, monitor product quality, and ensure safety and compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sort and pack frozen egg products according to specifications, keeping pace with machinery.
• Read scales and check case weights.
• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs. safely.
• Work in teams to ensure smooth conveyor operation.
• Prepare egg patties and omelets for freezing near ovens.
• Rotate positions during shifts.
• Determine product compliance and take corrective actions.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety, GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards.
• Report safety or quality concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience and Skills Required:

• No prior experience needed.
• Ability to travel stairs.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with units, weight, volume, and distance.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs., occasionally up to 55 lbs.
• Work indoors on hard surfaces, in temperatures between 45°F and 90°F.
• Rotate between stations and conveyor lines.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Teamwork and safety compliance.
