PART-TIME Warehouse Packer (Large) (Part-Time) (Noon-11pm)

Join our team as a Warehouse Packer and contribute to delivering our extensive product line to customers. This role involves verifying, packing, labeling, and auditing products, as well as operating warehouse equipment and supporting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

1. Verify products against packing slips using item and vendor numbers, descriptions, and quantities through visual inspections or measuring instruments.
2. Count and pack items, including DOT regulated materials.
3. Fill boxes with packing materials, seal, label, and shrink-wrap packages.
4. Create and scan barcode labels, and scan packages for UPS invoicing.
5. Audit packages for accuracy and damage.
6. Load, unload, and move products manually or using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
7. Operate powered equipment, including electric pallet jacks, forklifts, turret trucks, and order pickers.
8. Participate in cross-training across departments to support business needs.
9. Adhere to safety guidelines, meet productivity and quality standards, and participate in the Work Clean program.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state driver’s license (in some cases)
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Certification to operate powered equipment and handle DOT-regulated items, if required
• Physical ability to perform essential functions, including lifting up to 75 pounds, standing, walking, and operating at heights up to 50 feet. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
