Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking safety‑mocused individuals to join our team as a Packer Operator in a climate‑controlled facility in Jonestown, PA.

The role offers $23.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential for night hours and a potential for up to a 6% quarterly bonus through the Performance Pay program. You will work on a Dupont schedule with rotating 12‑hour shifts and must be able to climb into a safety‑driven environment while meeting attendance expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or other high paced environment.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts on a Dupont schedule with 7-day break in 28 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the packaging line with minimal supervision, ensuring safety, productivity, waste reduction and quality.
• Package/handle materials to customer specifications.
• Perform makeready/changeover tasks according to production schedules.
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce waste and increase production.
• Promote safety through active involvement and accountability, and maintain equipment.
