Daikin Applied Americas in Dayton, OH is seeking a production associate at a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. The role operates within a climate-controlled facility on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The position requires handling crates, using pallet jacks and forklifts, and performing inventory tasks using WMS while maintaining safety and quality standards. Benefits include healthcare, retirement matching, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.

Qualificações

• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials and stand for long shifts.
• Ability to use hand tools for extended periods.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High School Diploma or GED or 2+ years of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Follows all safety and operational policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Prepares, cuts, secures and assembles crates to prevent product damage.
• Safely transport materials throughout the facility using manual and Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), including pallet jack, forklift.
• Attention to detail with emphasis on reading diagrams, math skills, measuring devices and following step-by-step instructions.
• Uses basic computer programs, Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions, and handheld scanners to complete daily tasks.
• Identifies quality issues and escalates accordingly.
• Able to achieve safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to physically complete tasks including lifting, moving, and carrying up to 35 lbs. consistently throughout shift.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
• The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
• The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
