Job summary

Daikin Applied in Dayton, OH is hiring for an entry-level warehouse/production associate. You will follow safety rules and work instructions, prepare crates, and transport materials using pallet jacks and forklifts.

You’ll read diagrams, use measuring tools, and operate the Warehouse Management System with handheld scanners. The role requires high school completion (GED acceptable) or 2+ years in manufacturing, reading and writing in English, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 2 years related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs consistently.
• Ability to read English and follow instructions.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Prepare, cut, secure and assemble crates to prevent product damage.
• Transport materials using pallet jack and forklift.
• Read diagrams and use measuring devices.
• Use WMS and handheld scanners to complete tasks.
• Identify quality issues and escalate accordingly.
• Maintain 5S standards in work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
