Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a 1st Shift Packing & Deburring Specialist to finish, inspect, and prepare precision-machined components for shipment. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with pay starting at $17+ BOE.

You will remove burrs, inspect using calipers and gauges, and ensure parts meet strict aerospace quality standards. Ideal candidates have experience in deburring or machine shop environments and can lift 30-50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen
• Previous experience in deburring, manufacturing, or machine shop environment preferred
• Ability to use inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Basic understanding of blueprints and tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Ability to handle small parts and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30-50lbs

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts using hand tools, grinders, files, and deburring equipment
• Perform polishing, sanding, or finishing processes to meet customer specifications
• Handle small, precision components with care to maintain tight tolerances
• Identify surface defects or inconsistencies and notify supervisors as needed
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Ensure all parts meet quality standards commonly required in aerospace and precision manufacturing
• Carefully package finished parts to prevent damage during shipping
• Label, organize, and stage orders according to customer and company requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation for shipments and completed work orders
• Work closely with shipping/receiving to ensure timely order fulfillment
