Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational cert in precision machining desired.
• 2+ years experience deburring, polishing, surface finishing, grinding, masking, and polishing precision metal parts.
• Able to read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with manual/electric hand tools, deburring equipment, and precision measurement tools.
• Must come from precision machining or regulated manufacturing industries (aerospace/defense/medical preferred).
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, microscopes, height gauges.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision deburring operations on machined components including filing, edge breaking, blending, surface finishing, sanding, deburring, cleaning, grinding, masking and polishing parts to quality standards.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections using hand tools and equipment.
• Inspect parts for compliance with customer specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.
• Read and interpret drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Document in ERP/MRP system.
• Identify defects and escalate complex issues.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform precision deburring operations on machinedcomponents including filing, edge breaking, blending, surface finishing, sanding, deburring, cleaning, grinding,masking and polishing parts in accordance with quality standards.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surfaceimperfections using various hand tools and equipment.
• Inspect parts for compliance with customerspecifications.

• Documentation in ERP/MRP software system.
• Identify common partdefects; and completes standard work independently while escalatingcomplex issues.

• Must come from precision machining or highly-regulated manufacturing industries, preferably aerospace, defense, and medical industries.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as; calipers, micrometers, microscopes, height gauges, etc.
• Must be able to commute daily.
