Job summary

Intex is seeking a manufacturing support worker in Michigan. Shifts run 5am-3pm or 5am-1pm, Monday through Saturday, with overtime and Saturdays required. The role involves reviewing work orders, inspecting extrusion products for quality, and packing according to instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review work order instructions and complete assigned Work Orders.
• Review, verify, and sign the completion of work orders.
• Inspect extrusion products for length, surface, dents and defects; report discrepancies.
• Bundle products following packing instructions from the work order.
• Perform plant floor housekeeping and other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Attend and complete company trainings; wear PPE as required.

Overtime & Saturdays are required.

• Review work order instructions.
• Complete Work Orders assigned.
• Review the quality of extrusion products (i.e.: length, surface, dents, defects, etc.) reporting any discrepancies.
• Bundle products following packing instructions from the work order.
• Review, verify, and sign the completion of work order.
• Various plant floor housekeeping, as needed.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by department manager/supervisor.
• Position may require sitting, walking, standing, bending, stretching, kneeling, reaching (including over the head), lifting, and other movements (not specified) for long periods of time.
• Attend and complete any Company or outsourced trainings, as assigned
• Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
• Must wear PPE required for this position (i.e: safety glasses, steel toe, ear plugs, gloves, etc.).

This position requires punctuality and excellent attendance, with the physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive sitting, standing/walking, extensive bending/kneeling/squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, daily inspection of operating equipment and extreme temperatures.
