Job summary

Inteplast Group Corporation is seeking a Packer A to safely and efficiently package finished products in a fast-paced production environment in Massachusetts. You will maintain a clean, organized workspace and support overall team productivity by following procedures and quality standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, good communication skills, and at least six months of related experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
  • Six (6) months or more of experience in related position required.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Must follow all plant policies, procedures, and safety rules & regulations, whether written or communicated verbally.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in accordance with plant housekeeping standards.
  • Perform required inspections and monitor product quality to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Properly package and prepare finished goods for shipment to customers.
  • Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Attend and actively participate in required safety training and other training programs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by designated personnel.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION
  • Inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions
  • Subject to elevated noise, causing reason to shout in order to be hard above the noise level.
  • Subject to vibration, exposure fluctuating movements of the body.
