Job summary

Inteplast Group in Wisconsin is seeking a Packer C to efficiently and accurately pack products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. You will support production by maintaining a steady flow, meeting daily targets, and upholding safety guidelines in a non climate-controlled warehouse.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, legal US work eligibility, and strong reading/writing English, with math and mechanical aptitude for production equipment.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred with knowledge of production processes and quality control.

  • Ability to handle job-related stress and maintain productive interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with and enforce all safety regulations and programs in the plant and department.
  • Understand and follow plant policies and procedures.
  • Retrieve completed products from the line and package into boxes, recording the weight.
  • Prepare packaging with correct labeling and date stamps.
  • Inspect final product with bag checks and communicate issues promptly.
  • Maintain pace with production targets and keep the area clean.

Packer C

Efficiently and accurately pack products for shipment or storage, ensuring they meet quality standards and are properly labeled and documented. This role supports the overall production process by maintaining a steady flow of packed goods, minimizing waste, and adhering to safety and operational guidelines.

Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US.
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing our return on investment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English.
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude for machines used in the production process.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job‑related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
Job Responsibilities
  • Complies with, monitors, and enforces all written and verbal safety regulations and programs of the plant and department.
  • Understand and adhere to plant policies and procedures.
  • Retrieve completed products from the production line and package them into boxes where you will then record the weight.
  • Prepare packaging for the finished product by labeling with quality and date stamps.
  • Inspect final product using bag checks ensuring proper documentation and timely communication of any issues.
  • Demonstrate the capability to maintain pace with the production process and achieve daily production targets while also ensuring cleanliness in the designated area.
Work Environment Conditions
  • The warehouse is not climate controlled. Must be able to work in an environment that is extremely hot, humid in the summer months and cold in the winter months.
