Job Title: Packer - 3rd Shift at NPX ONE

Join us for the PACKER - 3rd SHIFT role at NPX ONE.

Description

NPX ONE has been trusted for exceptional performance since 1965. We supply fresh food processors and retailers with polystyrene and sustainable food trays to enhance the integrity, appearance, safety, and economics of packaged proteins. This entry-level position involves inspecting, stacking, and moving finished products from packing tables, bagging the product, and placing the bags on the conveyor system for removal. This is a third shift position (11 pm to 7 am) with daily and weekend overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform work safely to protect yourself and others.
• Familiarize yourself with department safety equipment and rules.
• Manually remove trays from the packing table as prescribed.
• Ensure tray quality and discard sub-quality trays.
• Report any noticeable quality changes to the Lead Operator or Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate counts of bags packed and trays per bag.
• Keep the work area clean.
• Conduct food safety and defense self-inspections and report deficiencies.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Excellent communication skills, proficient mathematical skills, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to meet deadlines individually or as part of a team are required.
