Description

3rd Shift PACKER

Hours: 11 pm - 7 am

Mission of the Role (What you will be doing)

The SupplyOne Packer position reports to the Operation Manager. This role requires the ability to pick trays from the web of a thermoforming machine, relieve packers, and perform miscellaneous responsibilities as needed.

Key Duties & Accountabilities

• Pick trays from the web of a thermoforming machine
• Visually inspect for flaws and die registration
• Replace defective parts and inform the process tech or operator of defects
• Pack into cartons
• Fill out manufacturing logs
• Clean the machine during setup and before production begins
• Relieve other packers when your machine is not running, including during cleaning
• Make cartons and number boxes sequentially with box number and cycle count
• Clean area around the machine at shift end and after jobs
• Repack and inspect trays, using re-inspection forms if necessary
• Perform off-line tasks, such as closing & taping cartons, labeling finished cartons, and making cartons for other machines, once your primary tasks are complete
• Run roller press and assist process tech or operator
• Maintain housekeeping standards
