The Packer is responsible for inspecting, banding, and shrink wrapping stacks of finished labels, as well as assembling and packing boxes of finished labels. The role involves ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability standards are met, and interacting with other departments to support company strategies. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect finished labels for quality
• Band and shrink wrap stacks of labels
• Assemble corrugated boxes or trays
• Pack labels into boxes for shipment
• Stack boxes on pallets for shipping
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly
• Operate a pallet jack
• Follow safety policies and work instructions, including ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP standards
• Maintain professional behavior and respectful interactions with colleagues
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the facility, including painting and cleaning as needed
• Travel as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to stand for full shifts

• Physical ability to feel, reach, talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment
