Qualifications

• Inspect the bag for defects with holes, misalignment, or improper dating.
• Maintain GMP hygiene and cleanliness per plant policies.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the bag for defects – i.e. holes, bad dates, misalignment, etc.
• Place the filled box properly on the conveyor.
• Know and understand the correct bag counts for each item.
• Maintain the highest level of personal hygiene and plant GMP compliance.
• Physically inspect products for natural and processing defects.
• Identify and report suspicious or abnormal situations to supervisor or plant management.
• Abnormal situations include unauthorized personnel in restricted areas or potential product adulteration.
• Work at a temperature around 38°F and stand/walk 100% of the shift.

Job description

• Inspect the bag for defects – i.e. holes, bad dates, misalignment, etc.
• Know and understand the proper way to place bags in the box.
• Know and understand the correct bag counts for each item.
• Place the filled box properly on the conveyor.
• Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
• Physically inspect products for both natural occurring and processing defects.

o Natural occurring defects i.e. bruises and blood spots.

o Processing defects would be but not limited to foreign material and out of spec product.

Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.

Abnormal situation would be:

Unauthorized employees in restricted areas

Situation where a belief that product adulteration may be occurring

Equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake

Physical Demands:

• Working at temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit
• Standing / walking 100% of the workday
