Job summary

Santa Monica Seafood in Hodgkins, IL is hiring a Packer to process high-quality fish for customer orders. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will pack product with speed and accuracy, following written and verbal instructions while collaborating with a team.

This full-time position requires standing for long hours, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and working in a cold production area. Compensation is $16.00 per hour with a $0.50 per hour second-shift differential.

Hours are 3:30PM-12:0 AM (OT/ Weekends likely).

Pay: $16.00/hr with shift differential of $.50/hr for working 2nd shift hours.

Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Packer is responsible for processing the highest quality of fresh fish to fulfill customer orders. Additionally, this individual is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area.

• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Works cooperatively with others.

• Production area maintains a cold temperature, warm clothing is required

Qualifications

Minimum Of 1-year Factory Related Experience Preferred.

Work Environment

• Work performed in a cold environment (35-40 degrees)
