Job summary

Santa Monica Seafood Company in Hodgkins, IL seeks a Packer to process high-quality fresh fish for customer orders. You will maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area while standing long hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Shift is 3:30 PM–12:00 AM with a $0.50/hr differential for 2nd shift. Pay starts at $16.00/hr with benefits including medical, dental, vision, holiday and vacation pay, plus a 401(k) with employer match. Prior factory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year factory related experience preferred.

• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Works cooperatively with others.
• Long term standing is required
• Must be able to lift, pull/push, carry up to 50lbs for short distances.
• Walking, long term standing is required.
• Production area maintains a cold temperature, warm clothing is required

Pay: $16.00/hr with shift differential of $.50/hr for working 2nd shift hours.

Summary:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Packer is responsible for processing the highest quality of fresh fish to fulfill customer orders. Additionally, this individual is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area.

Qualifications:

• Work performed in a cold environment (35-40 degrees)
