Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is hiring for multiple shifts in Everett, WA. The role involves measuring, inspecting, and packaging products in a 24-hour operation. Pay starts at $20.77 per hour with 2nd shift +10% and 3rd shift +15% differential.

Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packaging specs.
• Maintain documentation with the materials.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on forms.
• Seal containers using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers with hand tools.
• Follow supervisor instructions and ensure part integrity after processing.

Schedule: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, or 4th shift

Pay: $20.77/hr. (+10% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift, +15% Shift Differential for 3rd Shift)

Valence Surface Technologies production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm, 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm 6:30am), 4th shift (Friday-Sunday 6am-6pm)

Essential Functions:

• Measure, weigh, and count products and ma terials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Ensure that all documentation is kept with the materials.
• Record product, packaging, an d order information on specified forms and re cords. Seal containers or materials, using the stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools. Clean containers, materials, supplies , or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.) Visually inspect parts to ensure the proces s has been completed correctly Perform othe r duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
