Job summary

Meiji America is seeking a Packer to prepare packaging materials and pack finished products in line with specifications while upholding food safety and quality protocols in a team setting.

The role requires the ability to work at varying speeds, maintain cleanliness, follow GMP, label and stack products, and assist with training and downtime tasks as needed.

• Assist with break relief as needed.
• Knowledge of reworking and repacking process.
• Assist or oversee the training of new employees.
• Assisting with downtime and cleaning.
• Ability to use a manual pallet jack and palletize product.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read and record written instructions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Notify Supervision of any issues.
• Must adhere/comply with all Company policies, procedures and practices.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist with break relief and downtime cleaning as needed.

The Packer must be able to work at varying speeds based on different equipment and production rates in a team environment.
