Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Packer C to support production by following established quality guidelines and preparing finished goods for shipping. The role requires reliable attendance, flexibility for non-standard hours, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining safe work practices.

Responsibilities include maintaining housekeeping, packing and labeling according to charts, assisting during line startup and shutdown, using pallet jacks and basic hand tools, and adhering to plant

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and willingness to work non-standard hours.
• Ability to manage job-related stress and maintain productive interactions.
• Packer experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• PC knowledge and basic computer use.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all written and verbal safety rules.
• Maintain high level of housekeeping.
• Understand charting order instructions and arrange packaging supplies and boxes as per charting instructions.
• Pack and wrap finish goods as per procedure / charting instructions.
• Print / attach pallet labels and move pallets to designated location.
• Assist Operator during Line Startup & Shutdown.
• Use hand tools such as pallet jack.
• Make end boards.
• Run horizontal/vertical packing crane (Manual or radio control).
• Check packing supplies with Material Handler and ensure needed supplies are available.
• Comply with Plant Safety Regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Help in all areas when needed.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and be willing to work outside regular schedule.

• Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
• Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist. Example: Changing paper in printer, copier machine.
• Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
• Crouching, bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
• Reaching, extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Example: Making copies, giving presentations, directing traffic.

• Able to stand for up to 12hrs and Work 12hrs rotating schedule
• Must wear steel toe shoes and appropriate PPE on production floor all times
