Job summary

Triumph Processing Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks a Full-Time, non-exempt Packaging/Shipping Associate. The role measures, weighs, and counts products, and inspects materials to ensure packing specifications are met.

You will record product and order information, seal containers, and assemble cartons while following supervisor instructions. PPE may be required and safety practices observed daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• No prior work experience required.

• Inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on required forms.
• Seal containers or materials using stretch wrap, tape and other packaging materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers; keep work area clean.

Type: Full-Time Non-Exempt (hourly)

Essential Functions:

• Measure, weigh, and count products and ma terials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Ensure that all documentation is kept with the materials.
• Record product, packaging, an d order information on specified forms and re cords. Seal containers or materials, using the stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools. Clean containers, materials, supplies , or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.) Visually inspect parts to ensure the proces s has been completed correctly Perform othe r duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Experience: None
• Compensation Range $21.30 to $ 23.00 per hour (DOE)

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
