Job summary

Pretium Packaging is hiring a Packer to inspect and package plastic products to meet quality standards and prepare them for shipment. Join a hands-on team in a full-time role with growth opportunities and solid benefits.

You will work on a production line, ensure accurate labeling, monitor packaging materials, and maintain safety and cleanliness while meeting production targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or packaging role preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects.
• Package plastic products according to specifications and ensure proper sealing.
• Label packages with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste and following safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
