Job summary

CoWorx Staffing is seeking reliable manufacturing workers for a temp-to-hire role in Easthampton, MA. You will start on 1st shift with full training, then transition to 2nd shift after you’re up to speed. Responsibilities

• Package products by labeling and sealing finished goods per specs.
• Inspect materials for quality and identify defects before packing.
• Monitor production lines to maintain workflow and escalate issues.
• Document counts and packaging data for inventory tracking.
• Support inventory control, report shortages, and assist cycle counts.
• Maintain workstation organization per 5S standards.
• Follow PPE, lockout/tagout, and chemical handling guidelines.
• Collaborate with teams to meet daily output goals.
• Assist with machine changeovers and transitions between runs.

Responsibilities

• Perform product packaging for adhesive materials by preparing, labeling, and sealing finished goods according to production specifications.
• Inspect materials for quality, consistency, and defects before packing to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Monitor production lines to maintain workflow efficiency and identify issues requiring adjustment or escalation.
• Document production counts and packaging data to support accurate inventory tracking and shift reporting.
• Support inventory control by tracking materials used, reporting shortages, and assisting with cycle counts.
• Maintain workstation organization through proper storage, cleaning, and adherence to 5S standards.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE use, lockout/tagout procedures, and chemical handling guidelines.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet daily output goals and communicate any operational concerns.
• Assist with machine changeovers by preparing materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring smooth transitions between product runs.
