Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker at its Bradford, PA plant to support production and packaging operations. This role focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include performing housekeeping, assisting with case making, labeling, stacking, and equipment start/stop tasks, while adhering to GMP guidelines and company policies. Excellent teamwork and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follows all established safety, health, GMP and company policies.
• Participates in continuous quality improvement projects as assigned.
• Visually inspects finished product for defects and ensures cases are properly sealed.
• Packs bottles according to customer specifications.
• Restart/stop/clear downstream equipment as required in a safe manner.
• Maintains hot/cold glue tanks by keeping them full.
• Notifies supervisor or lead of potential problems with finished product and/or machinery.
• Assist with rework and heldware to ensure effective completion.
• Keeps work area clean, orderly and safe.
• May perform basic stretch wrapper functions.
