Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Packaging Specialist for Bradford, PA on the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). You will perform general housekeeping, case making, inspecting and packing finished goods following GMP guidelines and safety rules.

Responsibilities include following packing instructions, inspecting for defects, communicating with the team, supporting rework, training staff, and keeping the work area clean and compliant with company policies.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within instructions.
• Communicates effectively and collaborates with others.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, health, GMP and company policies.
• Inspect finished product for defects before packing.
• Follow written packing instructions.
• Notify supervisor of potential problems with product or machinery.
• Operate case making equipment safely.
• Assist in training regular and temporary workforce.
• Keep work area clean, orderly, and safe.
• Complete written documentation as required.
