Job summary

You’ll turn test data into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations that help customers and internal teams optimize packaging performance against real-world hazards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Packaging Science, Materials Science, or related discipline, or Associate degree with 4+ years of lab testing experience.
• Experience in a laboratory following SOPs, work instructions, and safety and housekeeping expectations.
• Ability to analyze data sets, identify trends, and draw technically sound conclusions.
• Experience in preparing technical reports or communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Ability to become forklift-certified and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into technically sound test plans evaluating packaging performance and failure risk.
• Deliver laboratory and transportation test execution (material properties, shock, vibration, compression, atmospheric conditions).
• Analyze test data with statistical methods and engineering judgment to surface trends and recommendations.
• Communicate methods, findings, and tradeoffs clearly through concise technical reports and summaries.
• Drive continuous improvement in test methods, lab workflows, and equipment readiness.
