Job summary

General Formulations is seeking a Slitter Helper to prepare packaging materials for each shift, label rolls, and package per customer specs. You will support the removal of rolls from machines and help ensure accurate skids and wrappers, while maintaining safety and a clean work area.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment on site at the Sparta facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety rules.
• Detail oriented with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure packaging materials are ready for scheduled orders.
• Remove rolls from rewind equipment, label, and package to customer specs.
• Check Customer Shipment Entry dashboard to decide skid status or start a new skid.
• Operate hand jack/hoist, banding gun, and assist wrappers as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report hazards.
