Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work safely in a production setting and follow PPE rules.
• Capacity to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare skids, boxes and labels for each order for the shift.
• Box, label and skid rolls produced by the machine according to spec.
• Clock in, clock out, and ensure packaging supplies are ready for orders.
• Watch for kick-out rolls/mill ends to prevent shipments to customers.
• Move finished skid to wrapper or finishing area using pallet jack.
• Assist operator with loading cores and splicing bulk rolls if time permits.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and work well in a team.
