Job summary

Alphia is seeking a Packaging Operator to maintain quality and operate packaging equipment across assigned lines. The role involves bagging, boxing, labeling, and stacking products, with emphasis on visual quality checks and adherence to GMPs.

The position requires basic math, computer skills, and the ability to work in a team or independently. Certification in Lock Out/Tag Out and forklift operation is preferred, and experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package products in bags, boxes, or bulk containers and label/stack on pallets.
• Inspect finished product to maintain quality standards.
• Perform QA duties and enter data into IQS software.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot packaging equipment (Bemis 1/2, Parsons, Jem lines, palletizers, forklifts, stretch wrappers, scales, metal detectors, labelers, coders, case erectors).
• Participate in FIFO program and ensure GMPs and SOPs are followed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; communicate quality concerns to supervisor.
