Job summary

Pennsylvania Ag Connection in Hanover, PA is seeking a Packer to manually pack products, prepare cartons, and perform final quality inspections to ensure packaging integrity. You will fold, tape, label, and stack on pallets, while maintaining cleanliness and following GMP/5S standards.

Responsibilities include operating tray-making and stapling machines, assisting with changeovers, and handling packaging supplies. Overtime may be required based on production needs and schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
• One year of production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.
• Frequent standing and manual dexterity required; ability to lift and move packaging materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardboard cartons and trays by folding, taping, sorting, labeling, and placing them in the work area.
• Perform visual inspections of final product packaging for integrity and correct seals.
• Stack cartons and trays on pallets and use pallet jack for loads as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following GMP and 5S.
• Assist with equipment changeovers and sanitation tasks.
