Job summary

This onsite role at Haleon in St. Louis, MO supports packaging operations to produce high-quality products in a safe environment. You will conduct quality and safety checks, maintain line performance, and participate in root-cause analyses while adhering to FDA-regulated procedures.

With 1+ year in production and a focus on teamwork, you will work shifts Monday-Thursday 8:00 PM–6:30 AM, contributing to a robust total rewards program and healthcare coverage for you and your family.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of production experience.
  • Technical degree or certification preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Able to lift 5–25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Team oriented and flexible to changing assignments.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to improve.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good organizational skills; interest in project management.
  • Proficient with computer applications.
  • Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Operate packaging lines daily in the packaging department.
  • Conduct routine quality checks per specifications.
  • Perform routine safety checks on equipment.
  • Ensure processes meet Quality System standards.
  • Comply with Haleon EHS policies and procedures.
  • Achieve packaging line performance targets.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for deviations.
  • Assist with maintenance and line changeovers.
  • Assist with 5S and cleaning to meet GMP requirements.
  • Handle SAP functions: batch reconciliation, cycle count, material movements, confirmation, and inventory control.

About the role

Work as a High-Performance Team member supporting all aspects of team performance in order to produce a high-quality product in a safe environment while complying to all Haleon policies and procedures in accordance with FDA regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the packaging lines in the packaging department on a daily basis.
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure that the products are in accordance with the specification.
  • Perform routine safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in a safe condition for operation.
  • Ensure processes quality and compliance in accordance with established procedures and standards of the Quality System.
  • Comply with and support the Haleon Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Achieve Performance target for Packaging Lines.
  • Participate in RCA for deviations.
  • Participate in RCA for problems/breakdowns that occur on equipment.
  • Perform and assist with preventative maintenance and autonomous maintenance on packaging production lines.
  • Perform and assist with packaging production lines change overs to meet department needs.
  • Perform and assist with 5S and cleaning activities to always meet good manufacturing practices.
  • SAP functions-Batch reconciliation, Cycle Count, Material Movements, Confirmation, and Inventory control.
Basic Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a production environment
  • Preferred Requirements Technical degree or certification preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and succeed in a team environment
  • Ability to lift 5-25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift drums, bags and cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated good oral and written communications skills
  • Team oriented and flexible, able to adapt to changing assignments
  • Highly motivated and self-driven with a desire to continuously improve own skill set.
  • Able to function productively with minimal supervision.
  • Good organizational skills and interest in project management
  • Ability to operate computer applications preferred
  • Detail-oriented

This role is located onsite at our St. Louis, MO facility. The shift is for Monday - Thursday 8P until 6:30A.
