Job summary

Haleon is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Oak Hill, WV to join the production team on 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am). You will weigh bulk materials, run processing equipment, and document batch activities for liquids and powders.

Ideal candidates will follow SOPs, maintain GMP standards, and assist with inventories. Training is provided; benefits include healthcare, a 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and paid parental leave.

Qualifications

• Willingness to wear respiratory protection when required.
• Ability to lift 55 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety-focused production tasks and maintain compliance with GMP guidelines.
• Swab equipment and conduct preventive maintenance as needed.
• Clean production area and equipment; manage material dispensing.
• Operate SCADA/SAP tasks related to batch processing and documentation.
• Complete batch documentation and support inventory counts.

About The Role

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the manufacturing of bulk product (liquid and powder formulations) which are formulated to finished goods. Includes the weighing of raw materials, the operation of various processing equipment and the documentation of these operations. This position works 12hr shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform all activities while focusing on safety and compliance
• Swabbing of equipment as required
• Performing preventative maintenance to respective workspace
• Cleaning of production equipment and parts
• Cleaning of production area as required
• Capable of working with powders (Supersacks, Sack tip)
• Capable of performing material dispensing
• Basic functionality of the SCADA batching system
• Capable of performing manual additions
• Capable of preparing detergent solutions
• Conduct inventories of raw materials and products
• Capable of performing basic SAP transactions associated with tasks listed above
• Understand and comply with all pertinent SOPs, WIs, Forms, Batch Documentation and GMP guidelines.
• Participate in efforts to consistently reduce waste

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to effectively communicate and work with Co-Workers, Management and other departments
• Ability to work overtime to fulfill business need
• Ability to operator electric pallet jack and RICO tote movers
• Demonstrated computer skills (Data entry, email, file access, Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Confident in the use of basic math calculations, percentages, fractions and decimal notation
• Familiar with difference measurement schemes (e.g. Kilograms vs pounds)
