Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services in Wisconsin seeks a plant operator to support production, read instructions, and set up work sites safely. You will observe equipment, ensure compliance with safety and waste-handling guidelines, and perform routine housekeeping and records.

This role requires you to plan tasks, use tools, and work under supervision with a focus on accuracy and meeting client production requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related field experience.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in the field.
• Under supervision with limited independent judgment.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting plant production requirements as set by client/owner.
• Monitor operating process equipment and maintenance needs.
• Communicate with supervision to achieve production goals.
• Read and interpret instructions and documentation and plan work activities.
• Move materials and equipment to work locations and set up work sites.
• Follow hazardous waste handling guidelines.
• Complete records, maintain tools and equipment, and perform clean-up activities.
• Observe and comply with safety and project rules.
• Perform other duties as required.
