Job summary

HP Hood LLC is seeking a packaging associate to safely and efficiently package quality products in line with company standards. The role supports sanitary operation of filling equipment and requires attention to production quotas.

The position involves operating high-speed filling machines, completing required paperwork, and collaborating with a team to meet daily goals and maintain safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Reading & writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Multi-tasked individual.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and clean filling equipment.
• Operate high speed filling machines in a sanitary, efficient manner.
• Complete paperwork per government regulations and HP Hood requirements.
• Safely operate all assigned equipment following JHA requirements.
• Consistently meet production quotas.
• Comply with all policies and guidelines for production and sanitation.
• Participate in cross-training to maximize efficiency.
• Work cooperatively with managers, supervisors and peers.
