Job summary

HP Hood LLC, a leading food and beverage manufacturer, seeks a self-driven packaging operator to safely and efficiently package quality products in alignment with HP Hood’s standards.

Shifts run 2:00pm to 10:30pm with Wednesday and Sunday off. The role requires adherence to GMPs, safety protocols, and efficient operation of equipment. Emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Reading & writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Multitasked individual.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate and clean filling equipment and related machinery.
• Maintain sanitary, efficient operation of multiple high-speed filling machines.
• Complete paperwork per government regulations and HP Hood requirements.
• Follow safety policies and JHA requirements.
• Meet production quotas and maintain quality standards.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in cross-training to improve departmental efficiency.
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and peers.
