Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a manufacturing teammate for our Sparks, NV facility. Responsibilities include changeovers, blending resins, and completing field paperwork while maintaining safety and environmental guidelines.

You will monitor equipment, adjust processes, and ensure scrap is weighed and recorded, with entries into the MRP system. This role supports on-line and off-line blending operations and requires attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform changeovers and complete changeover setup forms.
• Arrange assistance for changeover.
• Clean blenders and equipment for material changes.
• Pre-blend and oversee blending or mixing of resins on/off-line.
• Complete production paperwork including production sheet, labor log, scrap sheet, and daily functional check sheet.
• Record scrap weight and enter into MRP system.
• Set secondary equipment and test to ensure proper setup and operation.
• Respond to stack light alerts and maintain safety/work environment guidelines.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain product quality as identified by Packer/Inspector.
• Identify equipment shortfalls and submit maintenance requests.
• Close orders in system when complete.
