Job summary

Hardywood Park Craft Brewery is seeking an entry-level Packaging Associate to support the packaging team at the West Creek facility with potential shifts at Richmond. The role covers canning, kegging, warehousing and daily packaging tasks under supervision, with a path to Packaging Specialist I-III.

You will follow safety procedures, help package cans and kegs, assist inventory, perform general cleaning, and work with the team to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Superior standard of sanitation and cleanliness.
• Proficient writing and math skills.
• Computer skills and software.
• Work efficiently and with urgency to achieve daily goals.
• Functions extremely well in a team-based environment.
• Ability to adapt under short notice.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety procedures and identify opportunities to ensure the safest working environment possible.
• Packaging of cans and cartons coming off the can line.
• Ensure quality packaging of all cans and kegs and associated packaging materials and labeling.
• Cleaning and sanitizing kegs needed for meeting production needs.
• Taping of boxes once completely packaged.
• Wrapping and placing completed pallets into bonded inventory based on Logistics Coordinator's needs and preferences.
• Assist in inventory management as needed
• Help in the brewery as needed.
• General cleaning of packaging and production area.
• Breaking down boxes and discarding them as needed.
