Job summary

Hopewell Brewing Company is seeking an experienced craft beer packaging professional to lead our packaging team on the canning line, reporting to the Brewmaster and Co-Founder. Primary focus is scheduling, maintenance, quality assurance and safety.

The successful candidate will bring strong mechanical and technical skills, coupled with leadership, to drive efficiency, SOPs, training, and continuous improvement across packaging operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production packaging, craft beer experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; training experience desired.
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, multitasking and mechanical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee packaging line operations and scheduling.
• Ensure packaging equipment is maintained and updated.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues with a solutions mindset.
• Install new equipment on the canning line as we grow.
• Collaborate with team to improve packaging efficiency and quality.
• Create SOPs to boost efficiency and product quality.
• Schedule team to meet distribution and demand needs.
• Lead by example with a positive can-do attitude.
• Train new hires with the Head Brewer.
