Job summary

Hardywood Park Craft Brewery is seeking an entry-level Packaging Associate to support daily packaging needs, including canning, kegging, and warehousing. The role is based at the Hardywood West Creek facility with potential shifts at the Richmond facility and a path toward becoming a Packaging Specialist I/II/III as you grow with the operation.

You will report to the Packaging Manager and assist in safety, quality packaging, inventory, and general packaging duties, with opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Superior standard of sanitation and cleanliness.
• Proficient writing and math skills.
• Computer skills and software.
• Work efficiently and with urgency to achieve daily goals.
• Functions extremely well in a team-based environment.
• Ability to adapt under short notice.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety procedures and identify opportunities to ensure the safest working environment possible.
• Packaging of cans and cartons coming off the can line.
• Ensure quality packaging of all cans and kegs and associated packaging materials and labeling.
• Cleaning and sanitizing kegs needed for meeting production needs.
• Taping of boxes once completely packaged.
• Wrapping and placing completed pallets into bonded inventory based on Logistics Coordinator's needs and preferences.
• Assist in inventory management as needed
• Help in the brewery as needed.
• General cleaning of packaging and production area.
• Breaking down boxes and discarding them as needed.
