Job summary

Altium Packaging in Argos, Indiana, seeks an entry-level Production Packaging Associate to package materials and finished products. The role loads/moves materials, operates packaging equipment and follows GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities include handling bottles, inspecting quality, ensuring proper labeling and packaging per customer specs, and maintaining clean, organized workstations across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
• Demonstrates a Teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others.
• Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies.
• Keeps the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
• Picks up dropped bottles from production floor and places into designated bins.
• Places discarded bottles into grinder, if applicable.
• Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Performs bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
• Immediately escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues.
• Monitors supply levels of packaging materials and replenishes as needed.
• Ensures correct labeling, bottle description and packaging of product per customer requirements.
• Moves finished goods to designated area.
• Ensures efficient setup and organization of workstations; maintains inventory and restocks supplies for smooth shift transitions.
