Job summary

Altium Packaging in Argos, Indiana is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate to properly package materials and finished products. You will load, move materials and operate packaging equipment while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, keeping area neat, monitoring lines for bottle quality, and ensuring correct labeling and packaging per customer requirements. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Move finished goods to designated area.
• Ensure correct labeling, bottle description and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
• Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.
