Job summary

You will supervise in shifts as needed, mentor staff, and optimize equipment performance. Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors and operators, maintaining records, and driving continuous improvement while prioritizing safety and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of cGMP in dietary supplement or pharmaceutical environments.
• Experience or training with cleaning equipment in dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
• Ability to operate basic cleaning devices and learn advanced cleaning equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all staff levels.
• Critical thinking to learn Nutramax procedures and predict proposed changes' effectiveness.
• Ability to work independently and within a team per supervisor instructions.
• Previous knowledge of production processes in a cGMP or pharmaceutical environment preferred.
• Attention to detail and process analytical skills.
• Regularly stand, bend, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Strong mathematical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Requires ability to use fractions, decimals, and basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and packaging operations and ensure production goals are met.
• Communicate daily with supervisor and operators.
• Organize and prioritize daily production activities to avoid errors.
• Identify and report discrepancies to ensure safe, pure products.
• Monitor performance of employees, products and equipment; report findings.
• Follow Batch Records, SOPs, and related documents; ensure compliance.
• Check and calculate raw materials and packaging quantities.
• Train employees and set up equipment to run at peak efficiency.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and PPE compliance.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Motivate staff and promote proactive problem solving.
• Update production records and inventory logs.
• Ensure equipment safety and proper operation.
• Report safety incidents and follow emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments and work as a team.
• Carry out additional duties to meet company objectives.
