ProMach in Sarasota, FL is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer II to design packaging equipment and electro-mechanical systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the equipment meets customer needs and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of machine design experience, proficiency with Inventor or SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and strong communication skills. Packaging experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of machine design experience.
• Design for manufacturability expertise preferred.
• Experience with Inventor or SolidWorks and AutoCAD required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Create BOMs and contribute to mechanical design of new products.
• Produce engineering and fabrication drawings for metal components.
• Prepare installation manuals and final assembly drawings.
• Maintain drawing database and process ECOs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Provide engineering support to Purchasing/Production and coordinate prototypes with vendors.
• Conduct experiments for R&D and document results.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement design changes as needed.
