Job summary
ProMach is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II to join Bartelt Packaging, a ProMach company in Sarasota, FL. You will plan and design packaging equipment, including electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic systems, PC hardware, and software, interfacing with engineers to meet customer specs and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering application in packaging industry.
- Mastery of electrical engineering principles in high‑speed packaging machinery.
- Experience with AutoCAD, RSLogix5, Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View Studio ME.
- Knowledge of industrial networks: Ethernet/IP and Profibus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and evaluate electrical/electronic equipment, processes and systems.
- Design from conception to commercialization complex electrical systems, equipment or processes.
- Program electronic controls and modify designs to meet specifications.
- Provide technical assistance and support to manufacturing, sales, service, or purchasing.
- Conduct in-house QC and checkouts of equipment prior to shipment.
- Read schematics, process flow diagrams, and PC-generated reports.
- Troubleshoot field performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Lead multiple design projects with minimal supervision.
- Ensure Bartelt Packaging processes and procedures are followed during design.
