Job summary

Second Nature Brands in Madison Heights, MI is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to oversee the packaging department on-site. You will lead hourly staff, ensure safe operations, and meet production goals while driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

The role emphasizes training, safety, and collaboration with internal teams. This is a full-time, on-site position with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience driving a Hi-Lo and/or Forklift
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Strong reasoning and decision-making skills for the Processing floor

Responsibilities

• Lead and train manufacturing employees, ensuring safe operations, and meeting Processing schedules.
• Optimize productivity by ensuring proper inventory & sustainability standards are followed
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality policies.
• Foster an inclusive and respectful team environment, promoting employee engagement.
• Resolve issues and implement corrective measures when necessary.
• Build strong customer and supplier relationships across all levels of the organization.
